The only information that is needed in this thread is:

Your home terminal, how many you hired out with and date.

If you are in the hiring process, the terminal you hired out for, number of classmates and class date; if you didn't make it to interview, share information anyway.

If you also have information on up coming classes, share it.

This will help BNSF conductors/switchmen see where they are ranked in the system.

Since December 6, 2010, I've been aware of classes in San Bernadino, Ca, Fresno, Ca, Belen, NM, Albuquerque,NM, and Beaumont, TX.

April 17, 2011 was Clovis, NM. There was a Winslow, AZ class between those two dates, I can't remember when.

Lincoln, NE. March 21, 2011. 10 of us in this class. Lincoln also has class April 18 2011 with 10

There are classes scheduled for may and June according to our local HR person for Mccook NE not sure of the dates or class size

I justed received my final offer last Friday, start date April 4 out of North Town yard Minneapolis, at the interview they said 10 slots, I will update after my start date.

Not sure if anyone is still looking at this thread anymore, here is an update from the BNSF Twin Cities Division, my class start date was April 4th my class is the 14th of the year system wide and the 3rd for the Minneapolis NorthTown yard, the class sizes where 15, 17, 17 and we just heard they are scheduling another class for the fall, on top of that there are classes scheduled in Minot, ND. Aberdeen, SD. Wilmer, MN. I dont realy know what to make of all these hires, my class of 17 had our seniority draw and I pulled a 6th place and there has been a class start after mine so I am already about 25 from the bottom. I hope there is a place for everyone...

Aberdeen, South Dakota--Hiring session 06/09/2011 56 applicants showed up. Was told over twice that many were invited. Lost 13 after testing. 43 were granted interview's. Not sure yet how many received conditional offers. I was lucky to be one of them. We were told Aberdeen had 100 current conductors/engineers employed and they were looking to bring that to 150 by years end. I know the same day I received my offer, 06/16/2011, BNSF put Aberdeen, South Dakota back up for hire. Class start date is scheduled for July 11. I was told this by the trainmaster in the interview and that date was filled in on my job offer e-mail, so I believe it's correct.

Galesburg IL hiring plan includes 170 new conductors between Oct 2011 and June of 2012 I received this info from a Road Forman out here.

@Freewood why would you want to be released? From what I am seeing. SF has better pay agreements and SF lines up there pool turns.

Amarillo, Tx had to class dates July, 4 and October 10, was told they would hire around 33 total.

Sheridan Wyoming, Class start 10/3/11, looking for 25 conductors, but not sure how many actually wound up being hired. I was fortunate enough to be one of the ones that was!
