   Hey everyone, so I had an interview with bnsf in January and it went well. I received a conditional offer. A few Weeks later I was contacted by the background check agency because they couldn't verify some things. We figured that all out. Then a few days later I received a call scheduling my hearing/vision test. And a few days after that I got a call scheduling my strength test for this Wednesday. I'm just looking for any tips on the strength test. I'm going to give it my all of course. And I'm young and healthy so I'm hoping it'll be fine. Also, I haven't gotten an email saying I passed the background check. Should I have? I don't see why I wouldn't have. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. Just really want this job! The job starts in about a month so I'm hoping to find out soon.

   Don't think anyone gets anything back about the background check, but you can call Verifications, Inc and they should be able to tell you if/when it was sent to BNSF. If they have sent it over and you haven't had your conditional offer rescinded then you should be fine.

   As for the strength test, there is a link to a video showing the test on BNSF website. I wouldn't stress over it, just give it all you have and you should be fine.

   What location are you going for?

   Thanks for the quick response. Alright that's good to hear. I'll probably give them a call today. I watched the video, doesn't look to bad. The location is in lacrosse WI. About 4 hours from my hometown and in the same district so that's not to bad. Btw thanks for the book. Made me feel 10x more confident during the interview than the first one I went to before reading it.

   That's what everyone on here does, answer questions and help get through the process. You have to thank Sean for the book, but you can find almost any answer you need by searching the forum. There is a wealth of knowledge on here. Good luck with the rest of your processing. Go read through the BNSF forum and see who else may be hiring out or already at your location.

   Just completed the strength test this past Monday. It is fairly straight-forward. They have you warm up for 5 mins on a stationary bike, then sit in a chair and test your leg strength. The test feels like lifting a ton of bricks 5 times up and back then repeat after 30 seconds, then do the other leg. Then you warm up your arms and go back to the chair and lift what feels like a ton of bricks from waist-level up over your head 5X, then repeat after 30 seconds, then the other arm. That's it. 20-30 minutes total time and your done!

   How were the question in the interview. I got invited Feb 29 to take aptitude test in El paso tx. Track maintenance welder
