DAVENPORT, Iowa A federal judge has rejected the city of Burlington's claim that Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad breached a nearly 150-year-old agreement to maintain its principal repair shops in the city.

A new map series ushers cyclists along the Underground Railroad, the 19th-century route followed by black freedom seekers.
